$54.99
Prototype R&D test plaque for the 1851 Colt Navy revolver. 1″ pine with round-over routed edge, stained Red Mahogany.
Description
If you have read the blog post about Prototype Display Plaques you know what this is. Check out the blog page for full details on these prototype displays.
This wall mount display plaque features 1″ solid pine with a routed ogee (S-Shaped) edge. The red mahogany stain on this unit really makes the aged cardstock narrative and specifications stand out. Most of these prototype displays are one of a kind and will not have matching plaques for other models of guns. But there are 2 plaques that match this one in stain color. Both are for 1858 Remington NMA’s.
Actual size of this plaque is 15.75″ x 8″, support pegs are felt covered, sample lead roundball and conical bullet are attached. All wall hanging plaques come with mounting hardware including wall anchors rated for 35 lb each, and sawtooth picture hangers. Usually, these are not installed but they have been attached to this one. They can be moved if you wish.
Please note, this plaque is slightly used as it was used for my own ’51 Navy for a while. Price is reduced accordingly.
