Pistol Plaques dot com. Has a nice ring to it, wouldn’t you say? Try saying this as fast as you can: pistol plaques pistol plaques pistol plaques pistol plaques. Mine keeps coming out like, “pissel plaques”. Here’s one that easier: rifle plaques rifle plaques rifle plaques… nah, that’s too easy. But since I brought the subject up, let’s talk about rifle plaques.

Although I named the website Pistol Plaques, I don’t want to leave you with the impression that it’s ONLY a pistol thing. I make a lot of rifle plaques actually. It started with a Smith Carbine, then a couple of Henry’s, Hawkens, a Garand, a few Winchesters, a Kentucky Longrifle, an Enfield, a Yugoslavian Zastava M48 and even a Thompson Submachine Gun!

The rifle plaques are a bit different than the original pistol plaques in that instead of plywood, I use 1” pine with routed edges. This is because a piece of plywood 4 feet long and 10 inches tall can start to warp with time. The change does drive the cost up considerably but the result is a stunning display for an iconic rifle. Samples of rifle display plaques are shown on the Gallery Page, so take a look and drop me a line if you’d like to discuss one for yourself!

Now, let me try this again… pistol plaques pistol plaques pistol plaques pissel plaques. Ahh, I almost made it.
